Poem #2: So this poem means a lot to me. It was a poem I wrote over the summer when I was taking my master's class at MSU and I worked on this poem A LOT...for days to get it right. I revised, edited, revised some more. Then I created some audio for it. This poem means a lot because it symbolically represents a lot more than just raccoons, and it reminds me of how life transitions from childhood to adulthood.

Poem #3: So was one of my first poems that I wrote when I first began teaching Creative Writing. It is about my childhood, memories, loss, and love. It was one of those stupid things kids doing when they are being kids, but it means so much more to me to record this memory.
