Below are some narratives that I consider some of my finest work as well as some audio to entice you to read my true stories and enjoy!
“I heard this from a kid, who knew a kid, who knew a kid who had seen it, so naturally it was true.”
Narrative #1: Summer 2013
This is a narrative I wrote over the summer for one of my college classes. It was a wonderful childhood memory and I love the humor and spirit I recreated as I was tempted by the brick house that is still standing down the road on my childhood street. Please listen to the audio as well to get a "preview" of what this story will be about!

Narrative #2: Fall 2012
This is a narrative I wrote along with my students last year for the personal narrative unit. It was right in the midst of our home renovations, so it was a great opportunity for me to reflect--and in a way rant--about the house we had just bought. I enjoyed how this narrative showed my love-hate relationship for my old Victorian house, and it was a great way for me to play with voice, humor, and creative imagery.
